What Do You Have Waiting in the Wings?

It's very easy today to get stuck in the daily grind and just try and "stay afloat" during times of uncertainty. We try to keep up and not get left behind while everything changes around us. But as the quote above says, to stay ahead, you must have your next idea waiting in the wings.

I've found myself lately struggling to keep up with everything there is to do, in my professional and personal life. I feel fortunate to continue to have work to do, and I've been extremely motivated to continue to work and tackle new projects. I've been spending many hours outside of work trying to keep up with everything that's coming in, but I realize that I haven't been thinking about what's next. When I'm done with one task, I move on to the next, then the next, then the next... and after a while I started to realize that there's always going to be something else waiting for me. It's after those realizations that it's important to take back control of your time and start finding a way to not only come up with your next idea, but a way to implement it as well.

In our professional and personal lives, just keeping up actually puts us behind as everything around us continues to progress. It's important not to get caught up in the day-to-day and as you implement new ideas, always have your next idea waiting in the wings.
