Big Ambitions

At first glance, the quote above can seem like it's missing a key ingredient - action. However, reading more into what "ambition" really means, “it's the earnest desire for some type of achievement AND the willingness to strive for its attainment.” In other words, taking action to make it happen. For me, the season of Spring is not only a time for trees and flowers to start to bloom, but also has proven to be a time when the fruits of my personal and professional ambitions have taken hold.

At BannerView.com, we're always looking to what is the next big step for our company. During the past few years, many companies have focussed on staying afloat in the face of a tough economy. Although we at BannerView have faced those challenges, we never stopped looking to our next big step. Our ambitious ideas which started last year are in full bloom with the addition of Pamela Joy Ring, our new Chief Marketing Officer and Robert Orgill, our new General Sales Manager - the one-two punch BannerView needs to take us to the next level. Their years of experience and business savvy will undoubtedly forge the way for bigger and better things for BannerView.com!

Although there's increased responsibility in my professional life, there has also been increased motivation. This motivation spills over into my personal life as I see around me many of the "seeds" that were planted last year start to bloom at home. After getting married and buying a new home, we now also have a little black lab puppy that has made our new lives together fulfilling and rewarding-- he's a great leveler in our balancing hard work and personal enjoyment. I am now realizing that my efforts of the past have set a firm foundation for securing a positive and successful future for both myself and my family. There's still a long way to go, but it takes ambition to achieve great things.

It's true that "big results" could mean good things or bad things depending on the end result, but I realize that big ambitions can lead to great things both for myself and for BannerView.com...stay tuned!
