I was never much of a Star Trek fan, but I can certainly appreciate a good quote when I see one. Jean-Luc Picard said it best when he said "Things are only impossible until they are not." There never seems to be a shortage of "impossible" accomplishments and I like to believe that if there is enough support behind something, it can be made possible.

There are many aspects of being a business owner in which you can't control or predict the outcome. However, if you at least believe something is possible, then you're on your way to making it happen. There will always be those that try and remind you that something is not possible, but if you believe it can happen, then it just may be possible after all. More than 12 years into our business, we have shown that it's possible for a couple of 19 year olds to create a sustainable business that helps companies build a better business.

In my last blog, I announced that I was taking on a charitable effort that was originally organized two years ago by the parents of my wife's young cousin, MaKenzie Hanover, who lost her battle with cancer. After moving out of Las Vegas, her parents were no longer able to coordinate Team Kenzie. My wife, Ashley, and I decided to carry the torch and continue the efforts started by MaKenzie's parents, with a goal of being the largest family team for the third year in a row. We got started a little late in the game and thought that it would be impossible to rally enough support to earn that title once again. I'm happy to report that at the time of writing this blog, we're currently in the lead with 70 participants! Just another example that things can be made possible with enough effort and dedication.
