BannerDate: Repeating Events

Events may be repeated according to the following patterns: every day, every week day, specific day of every week, specific day of every month, or annually.

To Repeat a New Event:
Follow the instructions for Creating a New Event in the previous tutorial. Upon successfully creating the new event, click the Repeat Event link that is displayed on the success page. See Repeat Event Settings below.

To Repeat an Existing Event:
While in the BannerDate grip, click Calendar > Manage in the top navigation, or click the Manage Calendar icon on the BannerDate dashboard's All Options tab. Next, locate the day of the event you wish to modify and click on the event title to view the event.

  • If the event you are viewing is already a repeating event, you can choose which occurrences of the event to modify (or delete) at the bottom of the window. Make a selection before clicking Modify or Delete. The event's repeating options are editable on the modify page. See Repeat Event Settings below.
  • If the event you are viewing does not already repeat, click Modify, make changes to the event settings if needed, click Save, then click the Repeat Event link that is displayed on the success page. See Repeat Event Settings below.

Repeat Event Settings

  • Repeat Event: Choose how often to repeat the event. The specific day of the week and day of the month options are determined by the original event's date.
  • Repeat Until: Enter a date until which the event will repeat. After this date, it will no longer repeat.
