Applying Product Type Options to Existing Products

  1. Log into BannerOS.
  2. Click on "Grips" in the top navigation and choose "BannerMerchant" from the drop down menu.
  3. Click on "Products & Inventory" in the top navigation and choose "Manage" from the drop down menu.
  4. Find the product that will have the new option and click on the name link.
  5. Expand the "Product Type" section and click the "Modify Type Setup" button.
  6. Make sure the new option is chosen for the field.
  7. Click the "Save" button.
  8. On the "View Product" page, under the "Product Item Number" section, you will need to click the "Add" button next to each product item to add it to the store. Remember that each product item needs to have a unique item number.
