Email: Mobile Outlook Tutorial

Step 1

From the home screen, open your Outlook application. Click Get Started.

If you already have an account, click the settings icon in the top right corner, then click Add Account. Choose Add an email account.

Enter your full email address and click Continue.

If you see something that says setup account manually, press that. If you do not see it, skip to step 5.

Choose IMAP under Advanced.

Fill out the fields with your email password, your name, and a description.

Down at the bottom, turn on the Advanced Settings.

Step 5: Incoming Server Settings

Enter your display name and description for the email account, then turn on the advanced settings down at the bottom.

Enter your IMAP Incoming Mail Server as specified below:

IMAP Host Name: Enter in planname.bannerview.com
(Replace 'planname' with your hosting plan name, which is usually the same as your BannerView.com hosting account username. If you're not sure, your plan name can be found in the Welcome email you received when you signed up for services, or by logging into your BannerView.com hosting account and scrolling to the bottom of the Account Dashboard. IMAP Username: Enter your full email address

IMAP Password: Enter in your password which was created for this email account

Scroll down.

Step 6: SMTP Outgoing Mail Server

Enter the Outgoing Server Settings as specified below:

SMTP Host Name: smtp.bannerview.com

SMTP Username: Enter your full email address

SMTP Password: Enter in your password created for this email address

Press the checkmark at the top right of the page.
