Save A Page Edition For Later

BannerOS page editions allows you to save multiple versions of a page which can be saved for later use and restored. The best way to do this is to create a new edition of the page as is, then create a second new edition that contains your changes. The original edition can later be restored.

  1. From the main BannerOS Dashboard, click Content > Manage Pages.
  2. Locate the page you wish to save an edition of, click the arrow next to the View & Edit button and choose Add New Edition.
  3. Give the page an Edition Name that you will remember when it comes time to restore it later.
  4. Check the box for Publish Immediately in the Publish Date section. Click Continue.
  5. On the pages that follow, click Continue for each piece of content without making any changes to it. Once completed, you now have a saved edition of the page in its current state which you will be able to easily locate later. Click View Page.
  6. In the top navigation, click Page Options > Add New Edition.
  7. Give this page a new Edition Name that represents the changes you wish to make.
  8. Check the box for Publish Immediately in the Publish Date section. Click Continue.
  9. On the pages that follow, make any desired changes to the content as needed. Once completed, your new page updates will be live on the site, but the old edition is still saved for later use.
