Step 3. Reputation
The third step is to boost your website's reputation in Google's eyes. Links are still the biggest factor, but according to Frost and Kennedy, that's changing - now Google places more weight on other reputation signals, including social media.
Step 4. Revenue
In order to profit from SEO, you need more than just rankings. You need compelling website design and copy to entice visitors to do business with you. The end goal of your SEO campaigns shouldn't be to improve your rankings, but to increase your sales.
