BannerDate: Display Calendars on your Website

Calendars may be displayed on any website page or shell template by adding the appropriate marker from the Insert Dynamic Content drop down located below the WYSIWYG in all content editing sections of BannerOS.

To Display a Calendar on an Existing Page:

  1. From the main BannerOS dashboard, click Pages > Manage from the top navigation, or click the Manage Pages icon in Pages tab.
  2. Locate the page you wish to add the calendar to, and click View & Edit.
  3. Click the edit icon in the content region where you wish to display the calendar.
  4. Place the mouse cursor in the location where you wish to display the calendar.
  5. From the Insert Dynamic Content drop down, choose the appropriate BannerDate marker. See below for marker details.

To Display a Calendar on a New Page:

  1. View the tutorial on how to create new pages.
  2. When adding content to the new page, place the mouse cursor in the location where you wish to display the calendar.
  3. From the Insert Dynamic Content drop down, choose the appropriate BannerDate marker. See below for marker details.

Dynamic Content Markers

BannerDate markers are added to content regions or shell templates via the Insert Dynamic Content drop down located below the WYSIWYG editor.

BannerDate Month View
Month View displays a calendar in the traditional monthly format, with links to navigate between months and years.

  • Choose a Calendar Listing: Check the box next to each event category you wish to display on the calendar.
  • Additional Options: Choose to display all events, past events, or upcoming events.

BannerDate List View
List View displays a calendar in list format. Long lists can be displayed across multiple pages.

  • Choose a Calendar Listing: Check the box next to each event category you wish to display on the calendar.

Additional Options:

  • Hide Page Navigation: Check this box if you wish to hide page navigation and display all events on one page.
  • Sort By: Select how to sort the event listing.
  • Show x Entries Per Page: Enter the number of events to display per page. If "Hide Page Navigation" is checked, this setting is ignored.
  • Show: Past events or upcoming events.
